Oh, I know this one!  First of all, Fred and George: I always somehow manage to make friends with people who are widely recognized as being the funniest ones around (which I am endlessly thankful for), and they would be an absolute blast to be friends with.  Think about it: food stolen from the kitchens at all hours of the night, sneaking to Hogsmeade whenever I wanted to, endless laughter, a huge and crazy and wonderful family to visit over summer vacations – how desperately I want to be their friends!  Damn.  I might find friends in some of the other male characters, but I always get so irked by little flaws in people that even while reading the books I usually want to slap everyone at one point or another.  Too self-centered-because-he’s-an-orphan-and-hero (Harry), ignorant and hot-headed (Ron), pompous (Ernie), idiotic (Crabbe and Goyle), or just an asshole in general (Draco).  Wait!  Actually, I do have a bit of a thing for Dean and Seamus… they just seem chill.  They might make for some pretty sweet friends.

Realistically, I also think I would need a female friend in the mix (although maybe not, since I’m relatively used to being the only girl in a trio of friends), but honestly all the girls at Hogwarts kind of suck except Hermione; however, I am Hermione, and having two Hermiones in one friendship would not go over well.  All the other females are far too gossipy (Parvati, Padma, Lavender), a little too spacey (Luna, god bless her), straight-up bitches (Pansy), or just annoying (Ginny… I don’t know why she bothers me so much, I think it’s her whole “tough girl” act that gets to me).  So I guess I’m stuck with the Weasleys (maybe Dean and Seamus, and possibly Ron, thrown in for good measure), and I think I’m totally okay with that.

I know this post was really lame and short, but it’s just a rather simple question, and I’ve already thoroughly analyzed why Fred and George are SOAWESOMEOMG.
